Who we are

 President, Commonwealth Redevelopment, LLC is a construction management and development firm based near Richmond, Va. has over 30 years of experience serving third party institutional owners by providing construction management services that span the gamut from pre-construction planning through the construction process and ultimately to transitioning the project to the owner for operation. In recent years, Commonwealth Redevelopment has begun developing projects for its own account, such as working with partners to develop the Craddock Terry Hotel in Lynchburg. In doing this work, Commonwealth typically forms a special purpose entity to own and manage the asset, attract co-investors, and also oversee the design, build and completion of each owned project.

John Tercek

 John has built a career on real estate financing and infrastructure development. He started in NYC in the 1980s with a real estate finance boutique where he helped organize over $1 billion of development project financing.

John moved into renewable energy internationally and developed the first wind farm projects in Spain and UK in the 1990s. He joined Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines in 1999, where he worked for 20 years developing cruise port infrastructure worldwide. He created over 20 port projects in 15 countries with over $1 billion of aggregate development. This included the largest infrastructure project ever built in Jamaica, the $150 million Port Falmouth. John established wide networks of contacts in many countries. He holds a Doctorate in Law from Fordham University, and BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the New York Bar Association.

George Riggs

George is a financier by training and experience. He formed Brickell Park Capital in 2017 as an investment partnership and capital markets intermediary for real estate developments, including hotels, apartments, and industrial properties. He has worked in corporate finance with Houlihan and The Mclean Group. Previously at Ten X, a start-up online broker for commercial properties, he contributed to its dramatic growth. George has a degree in Political Science from James Madison University
